Today, my afternoon trip to the post office yielded this crop of knives. First up is an "unbranded", single blade, 1 tool (corkscrew), "Deer Head" pocket knife. It needed no cleaning. Next is an Imperial, 2 blade, "Deer Head" pocket knife. It required a VERY thorough cleaning. Last is the CAMILLUS 200 Commemorative Set. The knife is a 3 blade, stockman pocket knife. It didn't need any cleaning. My Adolphus & Anheuser Busch pocket knife & straight razor prints arrived also (not pictured in this thread). I took some pictures and here are the knives.

Very nice, both the gift and the reason. The 307 is the large stockman akin to the Case 75, no? I have none in my herd as of yet... ::disgust::

I got a Cutco 1888 in the mail today. Been wanting to try this one for a couple of years now, and I quite like it. It is light, the handle very grippy and comfortable to hold, the scissors work great, nad it has both plain and serrated blades. And it's the same size as a 58mm SAK (1990s USN seal edition shown). Few Victorinox and Wenger SAKs at this size (3" closed) featured them, and they are all limited models with short runs.

Unfortunately, the blades are both pretty dull, the main blade has a little wiggle, and Cutco's warranty department is closed until 2021 due to COVID. But, I did find a new lockback for only $20, and it should be here in a few days. Cutco does the lightweight knife very well. More expensive than a budget Buck, Case, or Gerber lightweight, but not quite Spyderco. I kinda wish they'd bring back aluminum handles like they had in the ALCAS era under Alcoa/Case ownership. When they open back up, I'm shipping this knife off; and will probably buy another when I can. Cutco no longer produces this model--they do still produce this frame, but in a configuration of a golfer's tool, with divot repair thingy and blade.

That's gotta be some of the most convincing plastic stag I have seen.

Neat Camillus set too. First I've seen with a Stockman and not a penknife.
