Ivoryman, I know the feeling. In my opinion, swapping bone for Delrin or whatever synthetic handle material was originally on some of these old knives, can make a huge difference. By coincidence, I had mailed another knife & some ebony to Jeff on Tuesday & you are making it hard for me to be patient.

Don't have a classic muscle car. Just my Tribal Lock and 196? Clark forklift that still runs every day.

One of the Camillus marques I do not yet have. At least they weren't trying to hide it by using an off-brand shield or caplifter...

Thanks TB. The handle on the Hen & Rooster is Corelon, a "synthetic celluloid," whatever that means. Basically it just plastic. The pattern is called Birch. I bought it several years ago; seems to be holding up pretty well.
As far as keeping it away from safe queens, if I had any safe queens... 😄. All my knives get pocket time sooner or later.

In my pocket today is a Kutmaster my Grandfather gave almost 50 years ago.
