I have very recently acquired a couple of older Indian Head stockman pocket knives and the tang stamp on these is different from the newer Indian Heads I have. The newer ones are tang stamped "C. RISNER" over the double head logo with "INDIANHEAD" under the logo. The older ones I just got are tang stamped with the double head logo and "BUCK CREEK" under the logo. I was wondering if anyone could give me an approximate date on these knives and also any info on the history of this particular brand.
I would also like to add that this is a great site and I thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge with me.
