Thank you all for the kind comments, appreciate them ::tu::

Love being able to compare the 2 knives and note all the similarities, pin location and size, large shield which Camillus was known for at the time, blade finishes match exactly, mark side main blade polished, pile side matt, both sides pen blade matt, pretty much exactly the same knife. The knives even share the same fault, main blade is not centered, both almost touch the liner on the same side.

Being the number of hardware store knives out there in this time period I always like when we can attribute a knife to a certain maker.

This belonged to one of the original cabinet makers in our town.

Ebony Hibbard Spencer Bartlett & Co stockman, 3.1/2", don't remember seeing all that many wood handled stockman's. Has full blades all tang stamped and a faint Our Very Best etch.
