The wife's Buck 726 came in. I'm wishing it had made it a his and hers deal, this is a great knife. The color is really nice. It was kind of a gamble since I couldn't find any good pictures of the brown ones. Bronze might've been a better description.

This morning, my trip to the post office these three knives. First up, first two pictures, a CAMILLUS 72, 3 blade, "Ducks" etched main blade, "whittler" pocket knife. It came with the packaging and paperwork. It needed no cleaning. Next up and the last two pictures are of two Imperial, "Moose Head", fixed blade knives, with sheaths. Both knives and sheaths are in FANTASTIC condition and required no cleaning. I took some pictures and here are the knives.

This Queen just arrived. It is a pattern #38, called a "Jumbo One Blade Pattern" on page 32 of the Queen 1950 catalog.
I'm tickled pink with this one! ::ds:: More pics later in the Queen thread.

Your wife's you say? Smaller hands, smaller knife. I was buying 722's & 721's (Walmart version of the 722) and decided to try a 726. It's a bit clumsy to operate for old arthritic hands. Too small. I'm sure it will fit your wife just right. They are good knives. Well built and IMO as easy to open (722's & 721's) as a Spyderco. I'm going to guess she will enjoy it.

"Nail friendly" has come up before when I got her to look at one of my stockmans. I think this one should fit the bill better.

Hey guys! I just posted pics on the "Switchblade" forum of this piece that I just got this morning, because I wanted some of the folks there to see it, but it was suggested to me to post new stuff on "Mail Call", so here it is again. It's not particularly new or special, but kindda cool! It's the CRKT "Psych". It's an 8 3/4" open "Glide-Lock" model, not to be mistaken for their "Rolox" model, since the 2 are quite different. The knife has a SS dagger blade with blood groove and jimping on the top false edge, SS bolsters liners and screws, jet-black G-10 scales, and pocket-clip, although I immediately removed it since I've never been a fan of pocket-clips. Has the "CRKT" logo etched on the front tang, as well as "PSYCH" and "Steigerwalt Design" along with the patent # etched on the rear tang. CRKT discontinued this model due to, in their own words, "it doesn't meet our stringent quality control standards", so who knows, it might be valuable someday. I will explain the opening/closing process below each pic! Mark! 8)
WIN_20200612_14_21_31_Pro.jpg
This is the fully closed position.
WIN_20200612_14_22_11_Pro.jpg
I have depressed the lock button between the 2 screws and slid the bolster up
WIN_20200612_14_22_33_Pro.jpg
I have pulled on the edge of the bolster, much like one would do with a "flipper" on an assisted knife.
WIN_20200612_14_22_45_Pro.jpg
This pic just shows the progression of the opening process
WIN_20200612_14_23_10_Pro.jpg
This is in the fully open position, but, the bolster has yet to be pulled down to complete the lock-up.
WIN_20200612_14_23_56_Pro.jpg
And finally, the knife fully open and locked. To close you simply reverse the steps! Pretty cool huh!

Thanks Mark! It's another one I can add to my "unusual" manual folders! They also have a beautiful model called "Xiolot"(I think)that's a stiletto profile with a dagger blade and assisted opening. That one is on my radar too! BTW, got your reply to my PM! 8)
