Swanner knives
Anyone know anything about the history of this company? I acquired a beautiful Swanner. Can’t find info on it though. I believe that Swanner had SFO’s made with his name on them. I’d bet that Queen made them from the looks of it, and the fine quality. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks fellow knife nuts.

Oscar, Swanner had knives made by Queen and also some from Japan. Do you have a picture of your knife?

That knife in the link reminds me of the early 2000 Gladstone Marble's.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

If I'm not mistaken, the Swanner's, father and son, used to come to the Alabama Gun Collectors Association shows in Birmingham way back in the late 60's and early 70's.
They sold collectible vintage knives and had some good ones.

Re: Swanner knives
The knife in the link is exactly the same as the Queen Master Cutler Series gunstock knife from the late seventies with the exception of different handles. I actually think it was 1979 but I don't recall exactly, I had one (the Queen version) but sold it off some years ago. That would seem to confirm that they definitely made that particular model for Swanner.1967redrider wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 1:57 am That knife in the link reminds me of the early 2000 Gladstone Marble's.
