1st..French Model 1874 "Gras" sword bayonet 25 1/2" overall, 20 1/2" blade-
Last of the French “sword-type” bayonets. It was manufactured to fit the French Model 1874 “Gras” Infantry rifle, refinement of the Model 1866 Chassepot infantry rifle. The “Gras” was manufactured from 1874 to about 1885. Solid brass pommel with integral latching mechanism.
Grips are wood. Cross-guard is steel, “blued” with upper guard being the muzzle-ring, lower guard forming a hooked “blade-breaker” quillon. Blades are steel – well made – and triangular (3-edge) in form. Arsenal, month, and year of manufacture is, “Mre d’Armes St. Etienne July 1874".

2nd..STEYR MODEL 1895 BAYONET. MARKED FGGY (=Made in Hungary). Tip needs some help but overall an ok blade.

3rd..My favorite of the three..1895 German contract bayonet for Chile. made to fit the Chilean 7mm Mauser of the same year designation(below)..
Well made and easily used as a functional knife. Single-edged, quality blade, blade ricasso displays the Chilean crest, as well as a symbol of three intertwining circles(Krupps Steel); wood grips, held on by two rivets. Looks like it was just pulled outa Jabba the Hut but, there's just a tad a grease on her!
