Camillus 72 Clones

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Opps..... I posted this one in the #72 thread.
This is a restored Camillus 1047. I put some new scales on it. It was an almost UNUSED knife..... I guess the scales just fell off or something.
Anyway, Some of y'all have already seen it in the wrong thread but just for posterity.... here she is.
Camillus 1047 with new scales and no shield.

I just picked up this CAMILLUS 72 variation for best offer. It is a CAMILLUS 1047, federal style shield, 3 blade, scouting "whittler" pocket knife. Physically, it looks good. Cosmetically, it looks like it could use a light cleaning. When I get it, I'll check it out. Pictures will be taken and posted in the appropriate location(s).

Today I bought this knife for best offer. It's a CAMILLUS 72, 3 blade, ducks etched on blade, "whittler" pocket knife. This is my second one of this particular "72" variation, my first with the packaging and paperwork. I believe it to be in better condition than it looks in the pictures. When I receive it, I'll check it over. Pictures will be taken and posted in the appropriate location(s).

So your the one! ::mdm::  I saw that one or one like it, and had saved it in my watch list. But didn't really keep my eye on it while I cought up on my to-do's for the first week of the month. By the time I went back, it was purchased and out of stock. ::dang:: ::tu:: Great score. It does look to be in good shape.

Thank you Smitty. ::tu:: When I see a CAMILLUS 1047 with a federal style shield, I pounce. The other style shield, it depends on a couple of factors whether or not I'll have any interest in it.

I received this knife this morning. Another CAMILLUS 72 variation. It's a CAMILLUS (1047), 3 blade, federal style shield, Boy Scout, "whittler" pocket knife. I gave the blades a bit of a cleaning. Pictures were taken and here is the knife.

This morning I received this knife. The latest addition to my CAMILLUS 72 variation collection. It is a CAMILLUS 72, 3 blade, "Ducks" etched main blade, "whittler" pocket knife. This is my second one of the CAMILLUS "Ducks" knives. It came with the packaging and paperwork. It needed no cleaning.
