Pray for my Mother in Law?

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Pray for my Mother in Law?

Post by Byrd »

Please, if you would, lift up my Mother in Law Theresa in prayer. She lives in a facility in Chicago, is in ill health, 85 years old, and has just been diagnosed with Covid 19. My wife is taking this especially hard as we are in Kansas and unable to be with her family.

Thank you so much!

Father God, I pray for You to bless Your daughter Theresa with Your healing power. Strengthen her and lift her from her bed of affliction. All this, Lord, for Your glory in Jesus's name. Amen.
Take care and God bless,

Heavenly Father....
We know that You know our hearts at all times. Today, our hearts are heavy for one of our elderly sisters who has contracted this terrible virus. Please be with her and comfort her and if it be Your will, please heal her of all traces of this disease! May Your perfect will be done! May You be glorified in Theresa's life. Also Father, please comfort her family who can't be with her.
These are hard times for us all Father.... please send us strength.
Thanks you for loving us Heavenly Father.
In the name of Jesus our Savior we pray.... Amen.

Oh Lord, we lift Theresa before your throne of grace and ask that you would touch her body and bring healing to her.
We know the doctors and medicine can to many wonderful things but true healing Lord Jesus comes from you, for you alone are the great physician. Not only do you the wind and the seas obey you but also the viruses. I ask the Lord that you would stretch forth your hand healing and touch Theresa's body that she might recover quickly. Give Brad, his wife and their family members comfort and assurance in this trying time.

I asked this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus who by his death and resurrection has defeated death once and for all!
Amen

Sorry to learn that Brad. Added her to our prayers. May the Lord grant her healing, and comfort to the family through His Grace.

Father I just saw this request. Now I ask with all humility, but with the strength of Your word that you bless and heal Theresa. Your power controls all things and the Holy Spirit comforts us in our times of trials and sickness. I ask Your blessing on the medical staff that will have her health in their hands. May they be guided by not only their training and experience, but by their belief in a physician much greater than an earthly one. Father may we see Theresa healed of this virus as soon as possible. May you Lord be lifted up and glorified in all things, we pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Brad, I'm a little late on this, so I trust and pray all is well. Prayers & thoughts for Theresa, and to you and yours, and all your loved ones.

The best part of the story (besides Theresa's healing) is I have a 3 year old Grandson. Every night he prays for everyone in the family by name. When my Daughter told him his Great Grandma was ok he innocently said "see mamma God does hear me." Brought tears to my eyes! What a life lesson for that little boy!

Thank you all again for standing with us!
