Today, my morning trip to the post office produced this knife. It is an unbranded, "deer head" handle, single blade, 4 tools, scouting/camping style pocket knife. The tang stamp says "ROSTFREI." I know what it means. It needed very little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Skip you have more dear head and wire jacks than anyone I know. I don’t know how you find so many in such great condition?
My trip to the mail box had this Browning Damascus Classic Fighter in it. 200 layer Damascus double edged blade w/ cocobolo wood handles . Designed by Master Hattori in Seki Japan. Made for Browning in the 1980’s and limited to only 1000 produced. More pics and information in the High End Japanese Knife Forum under “other Seki Made”.

Ka-Bar 1109. Saw it on ebay and thought it would clean up nicely. I'm not disappointed! Cleaned some corrosion off of the bottom, but otherwise just needed some attention. I love a nice stockman, can't go wrong with steel, wood and brass. "Buckish". Nice snap to it. No idea what steel this is, but I'm sure it'll sharpen up well enough for some pocket duty.

A red one to add to my Buck 722 Spitfires. The color is really hard to get to come out in a picture, thus this cell phone picture on the book I'm reading. These are about the only lockbacks I give two hoots about. Very solid, sturdy knives.

VERY g@@d l👀king knives everyone. ::tu::

This morning, my trip to the post office produced these two items. The first two pictures are of a promo picture card (7 3/4" x 10") of NASCAR driver Harry Gant, with statistics for the #33 Skoal Bandit car. SCHRADE (OLD TIMER) was one of the sponsors. It is in MINT condition. The last two pictures are of a CAMILLUS 72, 3 blade, short line, "whittler" pocket knife. It is in FANTASTIC shape. It required no cleaning at all. I took some pictures, here are the card and the knife.

Finally. I was beginning to think they were coming to Illinois by way of Albuquerque. The SAK did make a side trip thru Buffalo Grove, IL. Just sight seeing I suppose.

The main blade has an odd lock release on it. Actually this is the first SAK I've ever seen with a locking main blade. Of course, I haven't seen a lot of SAK's, so..................

Jerryd you'll be happy, my SAK's finally got here even though they were delivered to a neighbor
down the road. Even without looking at the address he knew who they belonged to.
The single blade "Swiss Army 1" I will probably carry for awhile.
The Old Forge is one I just like the look of it and I don't have any with the copper bolsters. I just
might order a couple of the other patterns in it just for the collection.

Today, my trip to the post office produced this bounty. Pictures #1 &#2 - It's a 2012 Case XX, 6207 SS, 2 blade, MINI TRAPPER with Olive Green handles, pocket knife. It came with the original box. It needed absolutely no cleaning. Pictures #3 & #4 - It's an EDGECO CUMOSA, single blade, "automatic" pocket knife. My fourth CUMOSA, my third by EDGECO. I added the rawhide lanyard. It needed no cleaning. Pictures #5 & #6 - It's a CAMILLUS 177, 2 blade, main blade etched, stockman pocket knife. It came with the original box and steel sharpening rod. It needed no cleaning at all. Picture #7 - It is a 1992 SCHRADE+, single drop point (etched) blade, zytel handles, lockback pocket knife. Schrade was one of the sponsors of the NASCAR #33, SKOAL BANDIT race car. The driver was Harry Gant. Except for some minor yellowing to the plastic container, this item is in MINT condition. Picture #8 - It is a 1993 Case, single drop point (etched) blade, zytel handles, lockback pocket knife. Case made a series of pocket knives featuring NASCAR drivers. This knife features Harry Gant, driver of the #33, SKOAL BANDIT race car. It is in MINT condition in the original, plastic container. Picture #9 - It's a fixed blade, with a "deer(?) head" handle, pocket knife. It needed no cleaning. It is in VERY good condition. Last but certainly not least, picture #10 is of two boxes of chocolate, single decker, Moon Pies. Tom (TPK) needs his Pop Tart fix, I need my Moon Pie fix and now I'll take care of that.
