The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Just got this Case 6225 1/2. Impulse buy on ebay. Nice knife but a little small for my taste. I should do more research before I buy. Oh well. I will look for a larger Jack knife.

It is a Case - you could've done a lot worse!
Take care and God bless,

One of my memories of my grandfather was his folding fish knife that he used to cut bait. Nobody knows what happened to his but I have his boat. My kids and I take it out at least a couple times a year even though we have a bigger newer one. I decided to get a new case to have in the old lund.

Cool boat & picture Bill! I bet it moves pretty good with that motor on it! Nice!

Nev52, that's a great little knife!
We like to call those little knives, "Sunday go to meetin' knives".
I enlarged the picture of yours and realized the knife has a Coca-Cola shield rather than Case shield. I thought we were seeing a regular Baby Coke with the pretty red handles, like the Coke can. I haven't seen one like that before.

Good eye for details Philip! I didn't even notice the shield. Like it even more now.

Thanks for the compliments men. Treefarmer we also called a small knife a Sunday go to meeting knife and we also call a fancy Pickup Truck a Sunday go to meeting truck.
My wife found this today at a garage sale, she said it's in rough condition but it looked like a quality knife and I only paid a dollar for it. If the handles were bone I think it would be a #61213 , it's 5 3/8" long , you can just make out the Case Tested stamp.Good job honey.
This 6 dot cigar came in yesterday from Knifeaholic. A 62055 jack knife 3 1/2 inch OAL closed, same size as the mini trapper. The pictures are Mr Pfeiffer's. Very pleased to have it. Thanks for looking
