Thanks for trying not to upset the Monkey, but I'm afraid you're too late, he pretty much exists in a state of perpetual agitation. Despite it having only ONE wharncliffe blade, I actually decided to get the other #62 model, Easy Pocket Congress. Fortunately, there does seem to be somewhat of a glut of the #62 Carvers currently on the market...maybe after awhile if/when the time, price, available funds, etc. all align properly...we'll see what happens. But I really like the slimness of the 2-blade Congress, which is why I chose it over the Carver. Sometimes compromises and sacrifices must be made.

I think this is the best 62 that was put out.

But since this is a Mini-Trapper thread, let me show this contribution for today. In person, these handles really jump.

Beautiful bone on the Northfield. It's taking me a bit to get used to some of the Kirinite patterns, but overall I like some of them. The deep blue on the one in your post looks really nice. ::tu::

Yup, I agree with Smitty. I'm generally not a big fan of synthetic handles but there are a few Kirinite handles (10207) that are quite attractive...that Blue Pearl being one of them for sure (I'm all about the blues!). I really like the white shield, too--Super Classy. ::tu::

Speaking of synthetic handles...Here's my only Corelon Mini-T (9207), of which I am quite fond. It reminds me of the glass "Cat's Eye" marbles I used to play with as a kid. This one's called "Aquarius," which seems fitting.

Smitty:
That's Stag handles on that 62.

~Q~:
Those are some very attractive handles. So far I've avoided the Corelon but after seeing that knife I may have to rethink my decision.

Why? Because it was inexpensive. ::nod::

Ah...there she is...the (in)famous "Pink Lady". For the life of me I can't imagine a military scenario or hunting situation that would require pink digi-cam (and believe me, I've tried); nevertheless, for some inexplicable reason, that one grows on me a little bit more every time I see it. ::undecided::

I was going to post a different Mini-T today, but since jerryd broke out "Operation Petticoat," I'm going to show the closest thing I have to it from my collection. It's such an oddball, if I don't show it now it may never be seen again.

Under normal circumstances this is not one I would have chosen for myself; but, I picked this'un up in a recent swap deal because it was the only 07 on the table, so the Monkey had no choice but to get it. At least the handle is bone.

Well ~Q~, for some inexplicable reason, I like that one. She could take up residence in my pile anytime she wanted to. 8) PM your bottom dollar to me (including shipping) and I might just be persuaded to take her off your hands.
