Knife Wax

I am in the process of getting my collection cleaned up and protected.
I saw a product called Walker Wax, have any of you use it and how
does it compare to Renaissance wax? In addition, do most of you use Simichrome or Blue Magic polish before you apply any wax to the knife?

I've never used Walker Wax, but I have used Renaissance wax for a few years with good results. I have been using Briwax lately as a cheaper alternative and it seems to do a good job also. Briwax is natural waxes and made in the UK. Wayne Goddard mentioned it in an article and I thought I'd give it a try. So far it's been very good.

i just got some walker wax but have not tested. ren wax is a very good product as well. i don't use abrasive cleaners unless i have to. applying ren wax cleans and polishes so i don't use other products first as a general rule.
