G@@d l👀king knives everyone. ::tu::

I'm currently going through old newspapers looking for articles, pictures, ads, etc., having just about anything to do with cutlery. Today I found this, non cutlery ad while searching. It's for the 1933 Chicago World's Fair - A Century Of Progress, which ran from May 27, 1933 to October 31, 1934. The ad decided for me, which knife to carry today. Joining my regular EDCs, will be this Camillus, 2 blade, 4 line tang stamp, pocket knife.

Did a lot of farm and yard work today. I had all of this loaded up into a Gerber Custom Fit Quad sheath; and I used every bit of it (except the prybar/wrench combo).

I pared that down to a 33OT this evening. I just got this knife a couple days ago, and got around to cleaning it today.

Always liked the copperlock. Good choice.

I've got some yard work to do today, so I'm gonna break this one in today. Right after a couple more cups of coffee.

I haven’t posted a knife here in a very long time. I don’t add a lot of new knives to the rotation but this is one I had customized by Muskrat Man about a year and a half ago. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy this knife. I tried to sell it a couple of times because the release for the blade is extremely hard to work. I took it down after a buyer accepted an offer and then read the full description about the release and asked to cancel the purchase. Which I gladly did, but got me thinking that this might be more trouble than it’s worth to sell. I would probably have to take it back anyway. So into the rotation it goes.
This is a Boker. One of those assembled in Germany but parts are made elsewhere. It’s a remarkably nice knife. Look at the run up on this. It’s close to being at the Japanese level of tightness. My next step is to get a sheath for it and carry it as a fixed blade. Right now I have it on the table for opening boxes and envelops and just marvel at the wooden handles. The handles are Amboynia wood. It also feels great in hand.
