Post by Bryan »

I've been working on a new look for AAPK...

Sneek preview of home page

Let me know what you think... ??? If most of us like it, I'll change everything over to match up... If you don't like it, please tell it to me straight. ...and suggestions are always very helpfull.

Looks pretty nice.

I have to admit though, it's kind of like when they remodel your favorite greasy spoon diner. Even if it's nicer you prefer it the old way. But, you get used to it, and pretty soon it feels like home again.

I say go for it.

Hey! You said go for it! ::huff::

HAHA! ::tounge::

I feal kinda funny about the change myself ...truth be told. It's amazing how a different layout/color scheme can give off an entirely different vibe. It does for me anyway... I can't decide if the vibe is better or worse... I think I'm warming up to it. We can always change back I suppose. ::paranoid::

I liked the other site better, but then again Ol' Duffers never like change.

Hey Bryan, I'll get over it

Just want to say thanks again to everyone for your feedback. Makes me think maybe we're on the right track. I hope someday we can make this place really great. I know I'm committed and will be working hard to make it happen. ::tu::

Hi Bryan,

We just got back from our 2nd Vacation this year. First one to the Great Smokey Mtns. This time to Myrtle Beach....I agree with Roger 50/2050. The new AAPK sure is "Spiffy" of course a First Class Knife Site deserves to be "Spiffy" 8) Nothing wrong with the former lay-out either.. ::nod:: I guess being user friendly is a main point of interest, and your site certainly is very user friendly. Now whenever I log-0n and have a sip of my favorite beverage, I'll stick out my pinky finger to be more sophisticated... ::tu:: later, Keith J.
