Yes Sir, I'll agree with Floyd, there is nothing' wrong with those 4 bass. Get your filet knife and you'll have 8 filets, 4 back bones and find your black iron skillet and y'all will have a fine supper!

Here is a video my brother made who is now stuck in Alaska because of U.S., Canadian and Alaskan
travel restrictions. They were planning on driving back this week, but it looks like they will be stuck
where they are until sometime in June. I'm not feeling sorry for them considering their location.

Lovely Steve . Man you guys are green down there, we're just starting to see some nice green grass here. I guess seasons truly different, in different parts of the continent. The walker poplar's are just starting to bud out, as are the red willows. The spruce trees stay green year round, which is super nice in the dead of winter.

I caught this little Sunfish this afternoon on my early fiberglass Fenwick fly rod.
It was 5 1/2 feet long when I bought it at a yard sale in Spokane many years ago. Someone snapped off six inches of it and repaired it properly. Still a great little caster. Arnold Gingrich was a big proponent of the light rod.
I have the great Pflueger Medalist 1494 reel mounted for pure class.
I used a deer hair dry fly.

Joe - I like that Sunfish! I love catching Sunfish (I call them bream) on a fly rod. Or any other way for that matter! I was just talking to my wife today that I have been in a bit of a funk this spring what with the virus and my kayak springing a major leak ... I have not fished my favorite rivers a single time this year. I really should get a new kayak and get out with a fly rod and and refresh my spirit.

Yes sir Dinadan, you should get it fixed, it would beat the coronavirus blues, that's for sure . Did you know, bondo makes a boat repair kit... Check out goonzquad's boat rebuild on youtube, of they're wrecker yard find, of a almost perfect speed boat. It's a lot of fun to find out, you can fix stuff yourself, without forking a pile of money over for a new one.
How bad is the damage? Big crack/split, or nice size pin hole? If it ain't to bad, give it a try. Wouldn't hurt at all, seeing as your out of money either way... Who knows, maybe you can get it back up and running, without spending $300-$400 on a new one.
