Yes it does. We use to see a lot of it back in the training areas on Eglin AFB, especially around the area where the SF training area was back in the 70 & 80's. . If you take and gather some plants and sprinkle in your bed roll, it will keep out fleas, ticks and other critters.

Found this hunk of sap balled up on a pine tree.....cut it in half...

That's cool, Scott.
Reminded me of the spruce gum our grandfather would find for us out on our walks in the woods.
Yup, you can actually chew it. It's starts off a bit crumbly, but stay with it and it starts to stick together.
Just wish I could remember what kind of spruce it came from.
