Just a few Queens I have

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

A Queen City Toothpick Not totally sure on this one. Looks to have been cleaned, and the handles are totally dark not like wintebottom white edges.

A Queen76 #47 Scratches on blade, but great snap and good looking handles.

Nice Queens! I wouldn’t worry too much about the lack of white on the handle covers. They were dyed dark - hafting is what brings out the white part of the bone. Being a natural material no two are alike which is why some have more white than others. If the bone slab is thinner it doesn’t require as much hafting to make it match the thickness of the bolsters. Therefore not much of the dyed bone was hafted away.

Awesome Queens Mr. Bones ::tu:: . Especially like that toothpick, trying to find good queen city's are hens teeth, hardly any ever popup, even on the bay. So hang on to it, still worth a perty penny, even in cleaned condition.
