Union cut. Co. Trapper

Could anyone tell me about this trapper, value, age, rare? I picked it up pretty cheap and have not been able to find out anything about it.

I have never seen that pattern. Has the very nice tang stamp.

I haven't seen that pattern either.The bone definitely isn't right for a North American Union Cut tang stamp.

I've never seen a spring come up so high as to get light under it like that one does.

Phil, I hate to say it but it doesn't look like an original knife. Early Union Cut knives should have both blades marked, and as stated above, that doesn't look like early Union Cut bone and spring seems to lift high.

Looks like a Queen slim line trapper frame.

Here are a couple more pictures..... it sucks I was thinking that this was what was called a slim dog leg trapper... I got it for $80 out of New York... what knife did the main blade come from

The blade looks original but not to the frame and handles. The North America stamped blades like yours are very hard to come by. Could have been from a 6112 pattern which is a slim trapper pattern with a long clip and a shorter pen blade.
