Nice one John! I LIKE THAT! ::tu:: ::super_happy:: My grandfather Wigfield used to breed & raise different hunting dogs. Among them also some Beagles! ::tu:: :D The same grandfather who worked at a feed store and carried a Purina knife as his EDC. Which got me interested in pocket knives. Hey Tom, was/is the Allegany Beagle Club out on Hinkle Road? My dad used to farm with a guy who lives on Hinkle Rd, I think I remember seeing a sign there.

I have no idea where it is John. ::shrug::

My grandfather also used to drive the school bus up across Irons Mt. One day a large Bobcat crossed the road while he was driving the kids home. After he delivered all the kids to their homes, he went and got some of his dogs & went after the Bobcat. He got it and it was a MD state record. My grandmother had a book of state records with his name in it & she also had the fur. She gave the book and the fur to my cousin Jimmy. ::doh:: She gave his "Purina" knife to my cousin Jason. ::facepalm:: I lived in FL so I got..., ::hmm:: memories I guess. Who knows, maybe it still is a record in MD? ::shrug:: Got a picture of it hanging off the mirror of the school bus somewhere. ::hmm::

That's a nice memorial to your pal.

I'm not normally overly fond of single blade traditional knives but I kinda like this one. I think it's the combination of the Wharncliffe blade and the handles that do it for me.

John, you shoulda' talked to me first. You can't carry that S&M. It's waaaay too nice to be abused like that.

~Q~, I have a two blade Antique Bone but it's the Tony Bose edition.

I have another two blade that looks very much (to me) like Antique Bone but they call it Burnt Amber. I'll have to keep an eye peeled for the two blade Antique Bone edition (not TB).

Joe, it's a mini-trapper. It belongs here.

And so does my contribution for the day. Yes, it's Pacific Rim but it's well done.

Mine's stamped Manchester, Ohio but on the back of the tang, it says China. I see yours has Louisville KY stamped on the tang. Was it made in USA?
