No expertise here, Ryan, but I think those scales are referred to as "saw cut." That is what they look like to these ancient eyes of mine.

VERY nice knives everyone. ::tu::

Today, my morning trip to the post office produced this knife. Another Camillus 72(Y), 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, Yello-Jaket "whittler" pocket knife. It needed no cleaning. I took a couple of pictures and here it is.

Skip, that’s a good looking whittler. Like the coloring on the handles and those match strike pulls are a very nice touch.

Your Camillus is Grade A Choice. Yellow scales, a favorite of mine, gracing a favored pattern. Doesn't get much better than that for me.

Great pickups Skip and Stan ::tu:: .
IMHO, Sabre Japan knives are some of the best cheap knives out there, along with Camillus and Imperial.

I'd been watching the Live Delivery map for a UPS package, thinking it was the lawnmower parts I'd ordered from Home Depot. It was actually my new Kershaw Leek. I am VERY impressed by this knife. Action is perfect, and it is surgical tool sharp.

While waiting, and after yard work, I was troubleshooting this Marklin locomotive. The thing had a couple of tablespoons full of dust, dirt, carpet fiber, and who knows what else. It runs poorly, and sounds like nails on a chalkboard.Guessing to start, I need to take it apart and thoroughly clean it.

Recently got these three knives to resell. One of the joys of selling knives is that you get to see, hold and handle a lot of different knives. The downside is that when sell and collect knives, it’s easy to justify keeping knives for your own collection, like these. These are 3 German made knives. Two are Henckels and the Canoe is a German made A.G. Russell that is much older.
