Skip you did well. Those craftsman are intriguing. Several different tang stamps I think.
Rough Ryders certainly a well made knife.

Thanks Skip!
I’ve decided to concentrate on collecting Sabre brand for know. They satisfy my addiction for a fraction of the cost!! They are well built knives(USA, Japan,) in my opinion.. The bone scales on a few I’ve acquired recently are really nice.thanks for looking!

Re: It's In The Mail
Talk about disappointment; got my NOS/NIB Winchester 3964 in yesterday’s mail, opened it up and first thing that hits my eye is a nice pin crack in the bone handle on the mark side. The knife went right back in the package and I drove it to the nearby USPO to get it moving back to the seller. I have to give it to eBay, their return item system works nicely; printed a prepaid shipping label, put it on the original package and my refund is in process. The real aggravator to me is that I passed on another Winchester Medium Stockman that was $25 dollars cheaper in the classifieds at Blade Forums because this one had already been ordered the day before - now the other one is gone too! I continue to have issues with eBay purchases when buying a pocketknife from NON-Knife dealers - why that is a very rare occurrence for me anymore and will be more rare after this purchase. Oh well. The silver lining, I took that $85 and applied it to a new Shimano fishing reel yesterday afternoon (that I could put my hands on), going to try it out in a few minutes. OH

Re: It's In The Mail
Nice Sabre Ryan!
Great reel OH!
I just picked up my first Hartkopf Solingen. Don't know the length of it but it does look like it has Ebony handles. If so, then these are another first for me. Maybe one of you can say if it appears to be Ebony? It's used but it seems to be in pretty good condition & the price was right.
I'm going to EDC this one so I'm considering
having "TOM" engraved in the "shield" that's on the side. What do you guys think of me doing that?
Maybe one of my kids would like that after I'm gone.
Cool idea? Or a Mistake?
There were no pictures of the whole knife on one picture.
Here are the best pictures the seller posted. More pictures in a week or so when it shows up. Thanks for looking!

Nice one Tom.
As far as having it engraved, I doubt very seriously you bought it as an investment.
If done by someone who knows what they're doing, it'll look fine.
Personally, I think it would be cool to have a knife handed down with my Dad's or Grandfather's name on it, knowing they carried it.

I bought this knife a few moments ago for best offer. According to jxr1197 (Jason), it's an Imperial Mexico. If so, it qualifies for two of my areas of collecting, IMPERIAL MEXICOs and a "Deer Head" for the zoo. It might actually be an "Elk Head" or a "Moose Head." When I receive it, I'll give it a looking over and clean if necessary. Pictures will be taken and posted in the appropriate location(s).
***** A special thanks to Jason for bringing this knife to my attention.

Found a new Leek for under $40. I really like the size; but the one I have came (unbeknownst to me) with a broken blade that had been sharpened with a belt sander. It was supposed to be used, like new. It will be, after Kershaw is done with it. I couldn't wait until the current epedemic blows over to send it to OR, and besides that one is Blackwash.
