Thanks Buddy!
Normally, I do all the question asking. I'm finding it hard to deal with this new situation.
Think I'll go buy a knife to get my mind on something else. Thanks!
Thanks Buddy!

Today, my trip to the post office produced these two knives. A "short line" Camillus 72 (first 2 pictures) and an "unbranded" Camillus 72 variation (last 2 pictures). The variation is either a Schrade 863 (doubtful), an Ulster 63 or a Craftsman 9494. I can't see any trace or remains of a tang stamp anywhere. Both received a cleaning, pictures were taken and here they are.

Tom, that’s one of the sleekest looking Congress knives I’ve ever seen. That looks like it belongs in my collection.

Looks like your song went platinum!Stanwade wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 1:57 pm Good looking knives guys!!Here’s a Sabre Barlow Japan I got for a song.. it was very dirty and somebody took a grinder to the blades but it’s very tight and it walks and talks like an alligator..I gotta finish getting the grinder marks off of the main blade then I’ll sharpen both blades...it’ll be a cool EDC… I love the bone handles on it

I love this pattern. I have 4 of them with different handles.Quick Steel wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 6:17 pm This Schatt & Morgan Cattle Knife arrived this afternoon. It's pretty much without flaws at least I can't find any. The blades are well centered, no rubbing. Really excellent F&F.

Nice finds! Especially that moose! I like it!treefarmer wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 5:34 pm Just got these two in the mail:006.JPG010.JPG Bought the Fire Fighter Trapper for a special young man who volunteered to sweep the oak leaves from our roof. He is a full time fireman in Bay County. Looking through the catalog I spied the slick black Moose and I figured I should get it for my birthday, or Fathers Day or even in remembrance of Anzac Day, what ever that is, the calendar said it was observed in New Zealand today.![]()
No offense to our friends in New Zealand or Australia, I just saw that on my desk calendar. Looked it up and Anzac Day is a day very similar to our Memorial Day here in America, remembering those who have served and died in all the wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations....![]()
