Russell Green River Works???

I need some help with a knife I picked up this week. It is a Russell Green River Works straight knife with great handles. I believe they are Micarta. I have never seen a Russell like this and would like to know if anyone has any info on it? I think it might have been made in the 1970's? Would also like to know the value of it. It is a really well made knife and feels great in your hand.

Hi Mike:
I think you may be correct on the date or possibly even a bit newer. They sold a lot of stamped blades that folks took great pains with to embellish. Some of the older ones, mid 1830's to early 1900's marked John Russell hold a reasonable value if you can find a market. You have to keep in mind the old ones were true working knives and mint is close to if not impossible to find. This one I am showing is the same profile but probably from Holy Oak not Tuner Falls which are the ones you want.
