Another Schrade 8OT

Post by Jeffinn »

Just finished up this one with amber wormgroove bone handles and threaded bolsters. The blades have a little wear but definitely have some life left in them. It turned out pretty nice!

It sure did turn out nice. Love that worm groove bone! If that is Culpepper bone, I will have to get some of that.

That is a great looking knife! Amazing what a new set of handles does for an old knife. I'm assuming the originals were the standard brown saw cut Delrin?

Thanks OC. The amber wormgroove bone is from Culpepper and it’s currently on sale.

Thank you. Yes, they were the standard, drab brown delrin handles that Schrade used.
