@ Colonel: I believe that would work just fine Colonel. I'd just roughen up the part you put inside the antler a bit to give the glue a good hold. But those rods should be perfect for the task. Good idea!
@treefarmer: Hi Philip. Nice to see some pictures of Miss Joy.treefarmer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2020 2:32 am Great pictures Wade! Thought I could join in and kill two birds with one stone. 1st your facial hair looks good. I have let my beard go untrimed since we started having church on Facebook. Every Saturday night I would trim my whiskers and shave my neck and a little bit on the cheek bones so I wouldn't look too raggedy on Sunday morning. This along with a high tight hair cut every 3 or 4 weeks kept me in the good graces of most folks.
Well the 2 bird deal is this, we ground and vacuum packed 50 pounds of pure red venison this afternoon for burger. Sharing this in the Outdoorsman thread you can see my unkempt look and also a few pictures of our little project. We still have a large amount of venison trimmings to make sausage in a week or so.

Never had chili, pasta or taco salad with venison but you got my mouth watering. Sounds delicious!
Yours & the Colonel's beards both look just fine to me.
Take care guys,
TPK
