Man, that's a great one, Keith.
What a fine matchstrike and etch.
They always seem to have such a nice crisp tamp.

The snap, weight, big half stop. Feels very well made. Can't imagine it was used much. Thanks for all the comments.

Older HSB jumbo whittler with a neat double pull.

Roger you’ve been very busy posting today. I really enjoyed your sleeveboard wittler. I have one by KeenKutter that needs two pen blades to complete it. Hope to find them someday. Steve B.

Two more beauties, Roger!
I think the jumbo whittler is a fairly rare pattern? Very interesting deep swage and short match striker pull.

Picked up a Hibbard Spencer&Bartlett Barlow, matched it up to an Ulster I have in the collection, looks like this one made by Ulster.

Here is a HSB & Co. folding Hunter. I was attracted to the pick bone handles! No shield here blocking the pick bone view
It is in very good condition showing use but the blade is pretty much full. Has enthusiastic walk and talk with a wicked snap open and close.

Very nice, handles are beautiful. It has a slim look in that 'overhead' shot. I like your description and use of adjectives, and I am being seriousDuffer wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 12:24 am Here is a HSB & Co. folding Hunter. I was attracted to the pick bone handles! Picked up a Hibbard Spencer&Bartlett easy open jack with a fat spear in mint condition. I have the same pattern in a Camillus and the HSB is a dead ringer other than the bone, I find early Camillus bone can be many different jigging patterns, I think I have 5 early Camillus knives now and not one has the same jigging.
