The boot knife was introduced in 1979 and last offered in 1992.

Case-XX P62-4 1/2 SS. It has a 4 & 5/8" blade. Overall length is 8 & 1/2"
I obtained this P62 set in the early 80s I believe.
Case originally sold it as a single knife only, and later made the box set.

I have a custom version of that knife and the handle was done by Shaw-Leibowitz. The company that contracted them apparently went belly up and the remaining stock was sold at auction to Shepherd Hills or one of those companies.I had posted a pic of it on another site and someone posted the identical knife they bought from them. I wrote a story about it on here somewhere.

I had an unused boxed set of one of those back in the early 1980s. Kick, kick, kick.............

I asked my wife if she would model the garter for us on AAPK, to help us all adapt to the new normal pertining to the current coronavirus lifestyle.
