There was a Bowen Knife Co based in Waycross Georgia started in 1973.

According to the listing, that is a Bowen, Remington, Alcas mfg knife. I would be surprised if legit IMHO. :) s-k

Good looking knife.......I lived in Waycross Georgia for a little over a year back in the early 90's.

Hi Johnnie. Do you think it is a Bowen-made knife? Why is Blackshear Georgia etched on the blade? The stamping looks poor quality IMO. In general, I am confused. Perhaps I am jaded by a past experience with this particular seller. Thanks in advance. :) s-k

Hello,Steve........yes..I believe it is a Bowen made knife......Blackshear is about 10 miles away from Waycross.
