Thanks Terry, and yes, it is mammoth. Rick had the ivory for about ten years before he used it, the knife is about ten years old too.

Some Sambar stag in the morning light, snow melted off yesterday. Dan Graves on my hip and #759 from Todd Davison in my pocket. I had seen on Instagram that Todd just surpassed 1900 slipjoints.

That one is a bull buster. It's like the mudbug but it doesn't lock and has a thicker handle. The blade is kind of an upswept drop point, standard sodbuster style.

A Queen and a Case

On the advice of Steve Warden I got something that "would make me smile whenever I took it out of my pocket " and carried it all week. A Case 63032. The blue jigged bone reminds me of my first cubscout knife (which I'm still hoping turns up in my parents house). Today I even got some time to get the feel of it. Not sure if I prefer the pen blade to the spey yet but loving it. Thanks Steve!
