If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Apparently Odin wore himself out on your outing. My Lab Mazie also likes to prop her head on things. Sometimes looks uncomfortable to me also. ::shrug::

Paul, I don't recall if I've seen your pooch in an earlier shot. But you have my favorite breed in my favorite color. This = gorgeous.

And now for something completely different...
Arnold and Sylvester got a new ten gallon tank, twice the size of their old one. I think they like it!

The one on the right in the picture is new to us. Her name is Purdy. She’s Mazie’s half-sister (same mother, different sires). We got Mazie as a puppy. The kennel, which breeds and trains Labs for hunting, rescue, and scent detection, kept Purdy as one of their mother dogs. We keep in occasional contact with the kennel and they let us know Purdy was retiring and available for adoption. So we took her in.

She’s been here with us almost two weeks and settling in great. She is obedience trained and has been hunted over. But she’s not housebroken, so we’re working on that now. ::facepalm::

Looking at your dogs, its easy to understand why Labs are the most popular breed.

Here’s my sidekick, Layla.. From top to bottom (actually the third picture is her as a pup) older pictures to more recent… Today, April 1, is actually her birthday! 7 years old.. She was born on a fitting date, to say the least🤔… She goes pretty much everywhere with me besides work and in the grocery store! And also, I love everybody else’s pets posted here !!👍👍they are very important to all of us especially at this time, I believe they truly are a gift from God..and she is not spoiled at all..I’m just grateful that she lets me live in her house..

What a good looking dog! I had an Irish Setter years ago when we lived in the Black Hills of South Dakota. She was my buddy. Hunting, fishing, tramping in the hills, she was there!

Thanks Byrd!! That’s my Layla..Very loyal companion… She can’t stand it if I have to go somewhere without her!(I miss her when I’m at work) but she’s fine when I’m at work, It’s other times I have to leave her at home for a few hours or what not and she knows I’m not at work that ticks her off!

Our dog Joshka can go from a solid state, to a liquid state, to mostly gas in just a few seconds. Here he is in a semi-liquid state.

Thanks guys. His solid and liquid states are fine, but when he converts to a gaseous state, you pretty much have to leave the room.
