A Prayer of Deliverance

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

A Prayer of Deliverance

Post by dlr110 »

All mighty God, Creator and deliver of our Salvation, hear our prayers.
We acknowledge Your sovereignty and Your authority over all things.

Foremost on our hearts and minds is the virus sweeping the globe and the fears of many around the world as to what the future holds for all of us.

Lord I pray for our leaders that they will make decisions based on sound knowledge and judgement after seeking Your counsel. Give them the courage to make the hard choices that are demanded in times such as these.

Father I pray for our country as a whole that we would be pulled together as one nation, in order to support and help one another in Christ like love and caring.

Father I pray that all Your children will be comforted in the promises of Your Word, that You will comfort us and provide for our every need. Reassure us Lord in the knowledge that You are still in control and “we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Heavenly Father in all ways may You be honored and glorified as we wait upon You for our deliverance from this crisis. In the Holy name of Jesus Christ we pray. AMEN.

First off, thank you for that prayer. I feel encouraged that Christian people are praying and realizing that our God can make a difference. The news media never even considers the power that the GREAT I AM possesses. Keep praying fellows, it makes all the difference.

My wife and I were just talking about this the other day. Sometimes it takes a crisis to make us realize what's really important in life and maybe that's what God wants us to take from this whole thing. He is all that matters, nothing else, just Him. If this makes us get on our knees and worship Him and seek Him so much the better. Our people, our country, the whole world has gotten way too far from the Lord. He will not stand for that. We need to come together and come back to what is important, Jesus Christ.

Thanks for the encouragement guys.

Father
It is by faith in Your Word that I know You live and reign over all that You have created.
It is by faith I know You love me and watch over me hour by hour, day by day.
It is by faith I know You comfort and care for me in times of distress and danger. That You will deliver me safe and victorious over the challenges that now face me.
Father, increase my faith, make me strong and courageous so when my faith is challenged I will always boldly declare, You are my GOD.
AMEN

1 John 5:14-15 (KJV) 14. And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will,
He heareth us. 15. And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we
desired of Him.

Father, creator of the Heavens and Earth, provider and sustainer of all life I come to you on my knees thanking and praising
You for Your protection and mercy during this time of trial.

Father, strengthen me in my confidence and resolve, to trust and obey Your commands, to do as You lead me and to have
faith that You are still on Your throne and in control of all that there is.

Through all my trials may Your glory shine before me that all may see the wonders of Your love for me. Through Your words
may others know that You hear my petitions and that You answer all my pleas.

Father, may the actions of my life and the words from my mouth bring honor, praise and glory to You and may all see the
love of Jesus Christ through me.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Matthew 6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about
its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

Father you strengthen me with Your power, You feed me with Your word and You have
provided all that I will need to sustain me throughout this day. Because of Your promises
I have no need to worry about what tomorrow may bring, but only that I will continue
to put my trust and faith in You. For Your honor and glory. Amen.
