FYI GEC 23 Stag

Post by Log Cabin Knives »

I don't know if anybody has posted this yet but I noticed on GEC's production schedule that there was no Stag version of the 23 Jumbo Trapper listed. I figured it would be added at a future date.......Yesterday I was at the GEC factory and while talking to BIll Howard that very subject came up. He told me their would be no Stag version. He said he had difficulty getting Stag slabs that big these days and that the 86's and 92's were about as big as he could get...........My takeaway from the conversation was that we were lucky to get the 86's and 92's in Stag and those with older 23's in Stag just saw an uptick in value. ::tu:: Rich, aka LCK

Just saw those for the first time Roland. Both are beauties! What is it about Stag that drives normal men crazy! ::woot:: Rich
