WOW! I haven’t seen one of those. And those are in amazingly good shape for how old they are. Those are like the holy grail of collecting. Very nice.

Today my trip to the post office produced these two knives. Another Geo. Schrade, single blade, wire jack, hawkbill pruner pocket knife. Another Schrade Walden 863, 3 blade, swelled center, "whittler" pocket knife. Both needed a cleaning, both received a cleaning. Pictures were taken and here they are.

Love that schrade Skip, I had one just like it with a missing shield. I shaped a piece of MOP to fit it, looked great! I did that with a tiny case toothpick as well.

Meanwhile, on a somewhat related note, here’s what I got today. A white composite Colonial Pic-nic-pal hobo to go with the black one and the Sport-Pal with a spoon. Been looking for a white one for quite a while... Finally! ::ds::

Thank you "D." ::tu:: Those are some fine looking knives you acquired. I know how you feel when you finally find and obtain a knife that you've been hunting for. ::tu::

Today's journey to the post office yielded these three knives.
First, an Imperial "Deer Head" pocket knife. A special THANK YOU goes out to Stanwade for selling this one to me. ::handshake::
Second, another Imperial "Deer Head" pocket knife.
Third, another Geo. Schrade, single blade, wire jack pocket knife.
All three are in better than expected condition and required very little cleaning. Pictures were taken and here they are.

Very nice Skip, although I must admit that it’s the wire Schrade that really jumps out to me... something about beauty in simplicity.

These arrived today. Ka Bar made by Canal Street Coppersmith Barlow. Picked this one up here from LuvStag. I had just been outbid the day before on one of these and was very happy to buy this one here. The second one is by Moki Seki Japan. Beautiful pearl and black lipped pearl inlayed in a checker board pattern. Smooth as glass feel in hand.

An impulse ebay purchase arrived today. Super low cost for a grungy, poorly photographed, single blade bareheaded folder. An hour or two of applying varying grits, flitz, and wax revealed a nice older German Premier Lifetime K91, horn scaled honest old knife. :D
