vintage HENCKELS / ZWILLING hunting folder...help needed

Hi folks,

I need some information on a vintage Henckels Zwilling folding knife.

I was already told that this particular knife should have been produced in the 1930´s or 1940´s...correct???

The blades are marked with "DRGM", "FRIGODUR" (I guess that means ice hardened), "NICHT ROSTEND" (i.e. stainless) and of course the twins symbol (see pics).

"DRGM" means "Deutsches Reichs-Gebrauchsmuster" (i.e. kinda patent pending) this abbreviation can only be used until 1945, because then the WW II and the German "Reich" was over...thanks to your vets.

A friend of mine wants me to throw it in the bay for him but I already have an offer of 100 bucks...ISN´T IT WORTH A LITTLE BIT MORE THAN THAT?

That is a great looking Henckels!!
If I were to put that on ebay"never it would stay in my collection" I would put a starting bid or reserve of $100...JMO.

I agree, 100 dollars is on the low end, it's a very nice knife and should bring more.

Great looking knife, especially for it's age. Never know with eBay, I don't think I'd risk it with a knife like that and no reserve.
