Floyd, I can't believe that I was the only bidder on this.

That really is a beauty! Very nice addition to your collection.
Thank you.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 11:05 pmThat really is a beauty! Very nice addition to your collection.![]()
Thank you Floyd. I've been soooooo close to obtaining this wire pattern
By chance, do you mean this one (on AAPK) for $235.00?
Thank you.
Hi Skip. What do you do/use to clean them up? This one would be like new without the stains. I won't clean this one because to my mind that would take away its "history" but sometimes they do need a little loving care.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 10:25 pm Today, this Geo. Schrade, single blade, wire jack, hawkbill pruner pocket knife, joins the collection. My first "large" one of these with this particular type of handle. It needed a little cleaning and it received a little cleaning. I took some pictures, here it is.
I just "clean" the rust with graphite and leave the "stains." That's a fine looking knife.joeradza wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 2:13 pmHi Skip. What do you do/use to clean them up? Thank you. I agree about leaving the stains. No sense in making an old man (me) trying to look like a 20 year old version of myself.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 3:35 pmI just "clean" the rust with graphite and leave the "stains." Another one in nice shape. Good pickup Skip.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 6:37 pm My latest acquisition, this Geo. Schrade, single blade, wire jack pocket knife. When I receive it, I'll give it the once over. It doesn't look like it needs much, if any, cleaning. I'll take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).
