The Schrade wire jacks are like chips to me. I can't resist as long as they're in good shape or if they fill a need.
The stag teardrop by Jeffery Mitchell is outstanding. Great w&t and the f&f is too. A drop smaller at 3 1/2" closed than I usually like but the blade more than makes up for that. An outstanding knife.
The black micarta wharncliffe from Rough Ryder deserves all the kudos it has received.
All are very nice knives. I'm partial towards the wire jack. VERY nice acquisition. ::tu::
Thanks. Did you grab the small hawkbill with the etch on Ebay the other day? They keep popping up so I've limited what I'll pay for them. I'm still hunting for an early small spear without the bottle opener, the small hawkbill with the Case tang stamp and I'd like another large spear. Got knives?
No, I didn't even try. I'm focusing on a different branch of my collection for awhile.

Jerryd, I don't know what they were designated by the company, but I would go with the Pilate's Survival knife. Every other life raft knife I've seen has a sheepsfoot or other blunted tip lest a rubber raft gets punctured. Like this:

In addition to the survival knife I bought off of Scott, as he is wont to do, he sent along this paddle strop as a bonus. Shopping at Sir Scott's is always a pleasure.

Two new Weidmannsheil knives. The stag on this one is so perfect and the grain goes clear to the bolster. The buffalo horn, well that needs no embellishments.

That's some perty fancy cutlery there Mark. I'm mighty partial to fancy stag and fancy horn, on fancy knives, you done good ole boy! :D ::tu::
I have 3 knives that came today, but they were being a real pain to photograph ::disgust:: ::facepalm:: .
Here's the low-down...
Case XX 1972 8 dot, yeller heavy duty 2 blade jack. Big ole Case carbon. Used, but still in excellent edcing condition. Wiped off, and into me pocket she goes.
Schatt & Morgan Heritage Series, ebony, single blade, heavy duty jack. I'm partial too ebony, i'm partial too single blade jacks, i'm partial too S&M's, i'm partial too double swedge cut drop point blades, i'm partial too...
I think ya'll have guessed by now that I really like this one ::super_happy:: . Factory mint, but a little colorization on the blade from the carbon oxidizing in storage. Humidity and carbon steel are a dynamite combo. Heck, it makes the knife look even better! And that always a good thing :) . The pull, walk, talk, half stop, snap are probably the best of any new pocket knife I've held so far, as good, or better then GEC's best. And it's the sharpest factory grind I've seen so far, shaved a good pile of arm hair when I tried it out earlier.
Winner in my book ::ds:: .
Best for last...
A GEC #82, Sambar Stag  , Dixie Stockman. It beats out the S&M in overall fit and finish. One large hunk of stag and stockman steel. I can see why it wasn't the most popular pattern gec put out, it's a little large for many people. You got to have steady hands when yer doing delicate work with it, that main blade is loooong, for a stock pattern anyway. But for me, it's a perfect size. It'll go great along side my case edc medium pocket worn stockman. But the worst thing about it, is that it's such a beautiful (and expensive) knife, that I really don't want to put it to work. First world problems eh... .
All in all this was a great haul.
Willy :D

That beautiful GEC would be totally wasted if you don't use it!
But then that S&M ebony would just sit around unused. . .

I guess that I could take it off your hands, though. Just to help put that poor knife, you understand!

Though Toothpicks have never been a particular favorite, this 4th generation 2000 Solingen Bulldog is now highly favored by me. This is due mostly to the excellent build quality and appealing red color. The tang carries the champion Bulldog, Lucky.

Being in the hospital didn't stop me from finding pocket knives. When I got home this evening I had these two beauties that arrived in the mail. I got a very good deal from one of our own members at AAPK for the pair of Case Mini Trappers Model #6207. "Jackson Knife Collectors Association" 1994 & Scroll etched on main blade. #06 & #23 in the series.
They have the tang stamp
