Building some sawhorses in the shop. I had to sharpen my carpenter’s pencil.
Here’s a pic of the knife, and the crew.

Today I thought I would experiment with a traditional fixed blade in place of my usual benchmade folder. We are actually are getting some winter weather today.

Thanks, Tom. I really didn't have to dig too deep. It stays pretty close to the top of my Barlow pile.

Did that a few days ago with an old puukko in place of an OHO and ended up slicing the meaty part of the thumb. The old Finn has been gloating about it with every touch since. Not the best place to get bit...KnifeSlinger#81 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 2:46 pm Today I thought I would experiment with a traditional fixed blade in place of my usual benchmade folder. Queen's ACSB is the #2 thing I miss the most from their closure. #1 would be Winterbottom bone.
A boxelder burl Barlow and a big ol' jigged plywood fish for today.

Everything's better with a Barlow

If I saw a knife for sale with lots of wobble, no snap, broken blades & it was rusted shut, I'm afraid I'd still be interested if it had ACSB.

Adding this Hen & Rooster swell center whittler I got today to my EDC knives. So it will be this H&R whittler and my Klaas stockman for the next few weeks.
