Case Vault Knives

Does anyone here know the real or all the tale on these new Case "Vault" knives? I thought these new Crandall's were a JP creation.

I am pretty sure that that Crandell Tuxedo was made in 2007.

If you look at the Vaulted photos of whats in the vault, that exact Crandell Tuxedo is in the picture.

Shepard Hills still has some for sale too.
