John

Thanks, Colonel, but it might be a trick of the photo regarding condition. The master blade was torn up on both sides by some sort of grinder or other power tool before I ever got it, so it'll never quite be the same again. It still holds a great edge, however, and the bone is still in pretty great shape, so it makes an excellent user plus it serves as pocket jewelry.
Don't get caught! They'll think your a dealer.KnifeSlinger#81 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 5:29 pm I wanted to carry the 61ot I just got but I also have to carry my two vintage edc's, so today I have loaded pockets.

Seldom included in photos but always in my pocket is this benchmade 535. I have been carrying this every day for six months now.

Thank you Quick Steel, & John & doglegg. It has some of the best matching stag handles I've got, too, which is a big reason it's my favorite Canoe.
Thanks garddogg. Neat Ruger you have there, too.garddogg56 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 12:54 am Benchmade at the range afta work ::super_happy::Geo I like that stag canoe![]()
That is a beauty, sir.
Speaking of Rogers bone, another gem. Those Voos jacks are underappreciated. Handsome bones, snappy as all get-out, and they cut like a dream. Everybody should have three.
Went looking for one of these talismans today. After a lot of searching several things point to the French Army & the Napoleonic Wars timeframe.richard wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 9:14 amthis is how they were worn. i was told they are found near creeks because thats where the troopers camped for the night.to water the horses.and got lost when they took there gear off.?TPK wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 5:50 amCool! Thanks for posting yours so that we can compare the two.
Here's an idea, yours was found near a creek, his (geocash's) was found in a creek on different sides of the globe. This leads me to think they may have had something to do with British soldiers & maybe something to do with belts or canteens?
Maybe?
I found an old tobacco pipe head in a creek as a kid. I'll see if I can find it and post it here with my EDC'c on the weekend.
