Knife aging and identification help please

Hello I was recently doing some renovations on my 102 year old home and in a wall found this pocket knife. It’s a two blade folding knife manufacturer stamp says U.S. Cutlery CO. I looked this up and found this was a company in Nee Jersey that went out of business in 1932. I have not been able to find any other information about it. I’ve cleaned it up and would like some more information about it. Can anyone help? Thank you!

If you can post close ups of the blade Stamps (tang Stamps) it could be helpful. On the last of your pictures there is a stamp at the base of the blade. Open the blade so that it is 90 degrees to the handles, then most of the stamp will be visable. Then take a close up of it & post it if you wish. Check each side of each blade to see if there are more stamps. If so post those as well. This may help others to find out more about your knife.

"U.S. Cutlery Co" is a rarely seen marking. It seems to have been used by a few different short lived businesses around 1900. Not a manufacturer, a wholesaler who bought knives made by U.S. manufacturers and then likely sold them to hardware stores, etc.
The pattern is a "Half Congress". A "Congress" has 2 springs and 4 blades using the same shape frame.
Handles are bone. Someone more familiar with vintage USA knives might be able to suggest who the manufacturer was.

Welcome!! I can’t add any information about the brand or pattern than had already been given. But I will say that is a fantastic old knife your have found!

One word of caution though, if it is a single spring knife, do be careful about opening both blades at once. Especially if you open them both just half way. You can over stress the spring and break it.
