A little overpriced
hhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/Walden-New-York-Knife- ... omJeCA3Row I don't understand how someone (even with no pocketknife knowledge) can come up with pricing like this.

Re: A little overpriced
I made when I considered to be a generous offer, $9.50, based on the slight possibility that there may be a usable part left on that knife.
The seller declined my offer.

I don't think there is any possibility he will sell it for that much, but if it sells somebody will most likely pay way too much for it.

I agree $9.50 is a very generous offer. I’ve seen (and bought) better than that in the $1 box at flea markets.

When I see these kind of knives on Ebay and the prices asked I think of 2 things:
#1 There are a whole lotta people with a whole lotta money
#2 I am not one of them

Re: A little overpriced
If you think these are bad, check out prices for beanie babies. There are three for sale right now for $1,000,000. I started watching one beanie baby that was listed for like $600,000 five years ago and it's still on eBay. It's supposedly rare because the little beans inside are PVC instead of PE (whatever that means) and the tag says Indonesia instead of China??? It's a Princess Diana commemorative and there are literally hundreds on there ranging in price from $1 to 1,000,000.
The moral is, you can put any price you want on an item, it costs exactly the same to list for $1 as 1,000,000 so, why not? Don't expect to sell it though.
Saw an auction one time for what a seller said was a bottled fart, don't remember what he wanted for it but I messaged him asking if, when I opened it, it would make the farting noise and he replied that it wouldn't.

Who are these people on ebay? Take a look at this one and unless I'm mistaken there's not a Tac Force knife like this one worth more than $10 let alone $110.

I believe this price is a typo on the sellers part. All the others he has sold were $10.60.dlr110 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 11:06 am Who are these people on ebay? Take a look at this one and unless I'm mistaken there's not a Tac Force knife like this one worth more than $10 let alone $110.
