Queen maybe?

I got this yesterday, no tang stamp at all. I remembered from this board that Queen ink stamped thiers for a while to save money.
Can anyone ID for sure, orhave a wild guess?
Seems well made, blak comp handles.

i think it was remington that inked their pattern numbers.

I have a knife that looks almost exactly like this one. It's 3 3/8" closed and it's marked Kingston. I have seen Kingston knives that had the Kingston mark etched on the blade but don't remember if they were also tang stamped. Kingston was a trademark used by Ulster and the Ulster-Imperial joint venture. This trademark was used from 1915-1958.

The knife pictured (and the one I own) seems to date from late 1940's - 1950's.

By the way, I also don't remember Queen ink stamping any knives but they did etch their markings (including pattern number) for a few years and those knives frequently show up as knives with no markings.

I measured the knife, which I should have done to begin with, it is 3 3/8 closed so that fits. I would love to see a picture of yours if it wouldn't be too much trouble. It seems like a decent knife.

I haven't had much luck with photography, but I will tell you that the knives are almost identical, especially the long pull and the nice deep swedge on the master. The only difference I see is that my knife has brass pins at all three locations whereas yours seem to have steel pins holding the handles to the scales.

When I get back home I'll try to make a detailed comparison of the jigging on the handles, I think these handles were molded like the Case handles and therefore the jigging might be identical, like the Case knives. Maybe I can see if my wife can get a picture.

Just so hppens a Kingston came up on ebay, I am convinced! Jigging is the same, correct size....

I haven't been able to use my home computer for two days because the electrical cord from the laptop to the outlet has a short in it and therefore I haven't been able to compare the jigging with mine. I think, though, that you can see the obvious similarities between the ebay knife and yours.
