Fresh load of Montana field peas this morning, these two pulling duty. Both are very well made knives, by any standard. Still dealing with my oldest being quite sick, no strep though, hopefully feeling better for tomorrows winter program at school. Pigs are my breeding of Mangalitsa and Gloucestershire Old Spots, top shelf, 5 months away from slaughter.

Great knives and great hog picture. You had me researching the mangalitsa, was not familiar at all, mostly Hamps and Chesters around my parts. Very interesting that it is an old breed that had nearly become extinct in the 90s, you are a part of their recovery story.

Thanks, she is just now starting to feel better. The mangalitsa sure is special and great eating, the old spot is an endangered breed and listed as critical also. Both are magnificent hogs and I am glad to be a part of the recovery.
