Hey geocash,

Love that Tuxedo! ::tu:: Very cool knife! ::super_happy:: Are most Tuxedo knives that small. I've never had one.
What's the two headed ::shrug:: Whatchamacallit?

Tom
Thanks Tom. I have this & another Tuxedo that are both 3" L, one that is 2 7/8" L & a fourth that is 3 1/4" L. I believe they're typical. And that "thing" is my talisman, or the closest thing I've got to a talisman. I found it in a creek bank 50 or 60 years ago & thought it was neat. About 10 years ago I learned it's actually a part of a belt that was in use in the South around the Civil War & may have been cast in Great Britain. Someone posted a picture of one on here within the last year that was almost identical to mine & they were in Australia if I recall correctly.
Thanks for the info! ::handshake::
Your talisman is extremely cool! ::tu:: Wish I had one of those that was really that old. Don't ever lose that Bad Boy! ::tu:: ::super_happy::

I live about 1/2 to 1 mile from the boundary of the National Forest. It's a beautiful day and I think I'm going to go for a walk. These two accessories should take care of any vicious moles, squirrels, chipmunks or meth-heads that I might encounter. (We actually do have bears, mountain lions and other assorted "game.") The movie scene is from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. A true Christmas classic in every sense of the word.

Cool! ::tu:: Thanks for posting yours so that we can compare the two. ::hmm:: Here's an idea, yours was found near a creek, his (geocash's) was found in a creek on different sides of the globe. This leads me to think they may have had something to do with British soldiers & maybe something to do with belts or canteens? ::shrug:: Maybe? ::shrug:: I found an old tobacco pipe head in a creek as a kid. I'll see if I can find it and post it here with my EDC'c on the weekend. ::tu::

Nice toothpick! ::tu:: ::super_happy::

Gotta run,
Tom
