Thanks doglegg, much appreciated! The mammoth tooth has more natural color from the minerals in the ground. Many folks dye mammoth tooth all sorts of colors, not my cup of tea.

Carrying these two in mammoth today. The girls are headed to Bozeman for The Nutcracker play. I went to town for some beer and snacks for the LSU/Georgia game. MT State is also playing Albany, NY for the 2nd Round FCS, but I don't get ESPN 3.

Tim Steingass subhilt Chute, tapered tang on a subhilt is not easy, soldered guards, mammoth from Mark Knapp of Alaska; Rick Menefee dogleg, 154cm and a wharncliffe secondary, Rick had this mammoth for over 10 years before using it on this knife.

Fishing earlier today; had this Buck 303 Cadet in my pocket and used this Buck 121 Fisherman to clean this mornings Speck (the Speck in this picture from last Saturday - haven't got a picture of today's Speck - but they all look pretty similar). OH

Everytime I see a knife by Tim Steinglass I wonder why I spend my money elsewhere. Truly spectacular.

I've got my favorite today. A stag teardrop by John Lloyd with a shell shield to remind me that summer is out there somewhere.
