Kutmaster whittlin' Kit

Picked up this Kutmaster Whittlin' Kit a couple weeks ago,an unused knife with plans to carve a boat,whale or rockets, and four pieces of balsa wood.I'm guessing 60's or 70's era?

Nice find. I think your age estimate is good but I would not be surprised if these kits might predate the 60's. Could you show a closer picture of the letter? Looks to be a gift premium. Very interesting.

That is really neat! I have not seen a Kutmaster set like that.
