Out feeding the pigs on a cold and sunny morning. This drop point from Johnny Stout on my side. Couple of sows are in heat, making the boars go crazy.

I rehandled this old Imperial a week ago with Osage Orange and was finally able to get to my friends shop and belt sander. Spent last night and most of today on final hand sanding. The original celluloid had shrunk. I have everything to make a sheath just have to settle on a design and find time.

Carrying this gem that Pasi Hurttila made for me. Very rarely does he forge damascus, and he uses a coal forge. Pasi also uses very few electric tools. One of the most comfortable handles of any knife.

Ibberson made Klein hawkbill (honestly, a great cold-weather knife--really great with gloves; the oversize handle and lock release helping), Benchmade Mini Griptillian, Leatherman PST (1996 dated).

Nice combo! I'm currently toting a Pioneer in the farm coat as backup to what I regularly carry--best work knife there ever was. 111mm liners bend WAY too easily. Yet, I've dropped the Pioneer on hard concrete, and it barely grazed the handle.

Been laid up with a bad back the last few days so haven't been toting much of anything. These two have been by the bedside to handle any necessary cutting. The irony of the Rooster being a doctor's knife is not lost on me. ::disgust::
