LB5

Post by orvet »

I recently finished an LB5 for a regular customer from another forum.

He posted his much better pictures there, but you will have to settle for my lousy scans from the scanner with a scratched glass.

Pretty basic work:
-Honey jigged bone handles
-Vine & leaf file work
-and some texturing of the bolsters with my new Foredom. (I love that machine!)
Oh, and I made a new spring for the knife.

Hope you enjoy the pics,
Dale

The Schrade LB5 Uncle Henry Smokey is an old favorite of mine. A great user with a handy size that just feels good in your hand.
Out of curiosity I had to buy the new imported version from Taylor Cutlery also a few moths back. But that is another story for another post…

Very nice work and I'm sure your customer is pleased with it. ::tu:: ::nod::
