Just "Howdy"

Hello to everyone. I'm just a plain ole South Miss. redneck musician that just happens to be a knife nut. I'm not a shor nuff knife pro, but I can sharpen one, cut with one, and recognize some on sight. I just disovered this sight a couple weeks ago. (Bryan, this site is a very cool idea!) I've been reading a little and learning a lot. I was extremely impressed with the advice many of you gave a guy who discovered a very expensive knife in his neighbor's estate sale, and the seller did'nt know the value of it. Your replies and advice encouraged the guy to be honest with the seller and not rip him off. This world desperately needs honest people. (God can use a few.) To all you Vets, "THANK YOU!"... There's a special place in my heart for you. I'm lookin forward to learning more on this site.

Welcome to the forum whittlenut. Kick the shoes off and make yourself at home. Lots of great people come by and share thier knowledge.

Welcome Whittlenut, I'm a new guy myself, but I've gained a lot of "knife knowledge" in the week or so I've been here.
